Emré Erturk is an acclaimed artist who has been painting ever since he was two years old. It is no wonder how far he has come, being born into a family of creativity and entrepreneurship. His parents were at the top of their fields respectively; his father owned one of the largest meat distribution companies to Turkey and Greece and his mother was in leather business making leather wear for all of Europe.
He continues their legacy of excellence and love today. By the age of fourteen, Emré won several national prizes for his paintings in Turkey. In 1992 he moved to London, where he studied fine arts and design at the American College of Arts. He continued his education in Istanbul at the Marmara University of Fine Arts. Erturk has had major art shows throughout Europe during his studies and after his graduation (his paintings can be found in fine art galleries, priced in the thousands). He has also designed an exclusive line of handbags and t-shirts under his own name for the famous fashion house Vakko during the period of 1994-1997.
