. . …..She ……..sleeps ………..in …………a …dragon’s ….pose Dreaming the fires of her soul I am becoming immersed in this world In this room The dawn rustles the landscape Birdsong adorns the stillness Muffled by glass and wall Accompanied by a soulful request from a big orange cat by the door A loose chassis speaks of the washboard road out front Pushed by a weary engine And with out knowing it The driver shares this moment With me and the birds Two dogs Two cats And dreams .
